ABOUT US
KŌNBIT is a global circular food systems consultancy.
KŌNBIT (pronounced cone-beet) is a Creole word that embodies the spirit of coming together for public commons and community good.
Specializing in transforming food consumption and production through our ‘localizing food together™’ approach, we employ a comprehensive strategy blending participatory design, system innovation, foresight/futures, and circular economy concepts. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, we aim to optimize local food systems, minimize waste, and uphold the highest social and environmental standards.
Committed to regenerating Nature, KŌNBIT is pioneering innovative and collaborative circular designs for a nourishing future for all.
The global food systems are fundamentally broken. Despite record food production decade after decade, according to FAO (UN Food and Agricultural Organization), 1 in 9 is food insecure. Climate Crisis further perpetuates the problem of our existing food systems. FAO’s roadmap shows how to transform food systems to achieve the 1.5 degrees C Paris Agreement climate goal and SDG #2 goal of Zero Hunger.
Our food systems need to change. To build resiliency, we need to decentralize (or localize) our food system. Inspired by our participation in the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Big Food Redesign Challenge, we help entities big and small in the food sector, from farmers to ingredient brands to food companies to retailers – transition to a circular economy-based regenerative future.

Together, let’s transform our food systems for the greater good. Let’s connect and make a difference!
